I am a research scientist at Affinity Research Chemicals, where I have been working for nine months on the rational design and synthesis of target compounds using cutting-edge synthetic methodologies and techniques. I graduated with a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of New Hampshire in December 2022 where I have five years of experience in synthetic organic chemistry, computational chemistry, and analytical chemistry. My core competencies include characterization and optimization of reactions, multi-step/multi-scale synthesis, synthetic route proposal, and DFT studies of transition states. I have conducted research on novel polyaromatic hydrocarbons, photochemical benzannuation, total synthesis of natural products, and Diels-Alder reaction, and I have received multiple fellowships for excellence in graduate research. I am passionate about creating new molecules with potential applications in medicine and therapeutics, and I am always eager to learn new skills and knowledge.
Listed skills include Gaussian Software, Chromatography, Academic Research, Spectroscopy, and 38 others.
