At Make-A-Wish, part of my volunteer duties included wish granting, which involves meeting with children and their families, and then working with the foundation to make the children’s “wishes” come true. As an editor at Square One, I played a part in the entire publication process of a book, from the acquisition of a manuscript to marketing the final product. As a freelance producer, I wrote stories for www.news12.com, edited graphics and videos to go with the stories, and posted headlines and video’s on News 12’s iO channel. In between stories, I wrote and posted headlines for News 12’s Infobar, which scrolls along the bottom of the TV channel.

As an intern in the childrens' marketing department, I compiled mailing lists for product promotion; designed event kits for new releases and worked alongside art department to ensure accurate production; and packaged and sent out promotional materials.
