Led the formation of the Fragmin rapid response team to prepare for an ODAC FDA meeting in accelerated three months time. The meeting was successful and led to an expansion of the product label in multiple markets.

Initiated first Pfizer Oncology program, transitioning products for multiple tumor types from Pharmacia, using HIV program experience. Reviewed all outstanding contracts for the U.S. Oncology business, working with finance and the investigator grant coordinators to update and standardize associated databases allowing internal management and the field force to get up to speed quickly.

Directed key activities during the Warner-Lambert acquisition of Agouron and subsequent merger with Pfizer, Inc. Managed and supported the clinical systems for the Phase IIIb/IV unit in La Jolla by working closely with clinical operations and other functional lines. Supervised 5 people and oversaw the rollout of system tools for use by managers in Medical Affairs.

Attracted, developed, evaluated and motivated key staff of 17 front office and assembly lines workers. Managed $1M sales P&L budget. Converted accounting system from paper to electronic improving accuracy and efficiency. Reduced inventory costs by creating systems to track/monitor production. This streamlined inventory management, ensured no shipping delays, and improved cash flow.
