Perform inspection and ensure that activities are carried out as per project quality plan. To ensure the timely inspection and approval of all materials and equipment delivered are completed by the client and maintain records. Initiate request for inspection (RFI) through quality management information system (QMIS). Reporting all cases of deficiency and/or Non-Conformance’s, root cause analysis, issuing reports as required. Coordinate with the client in quality related issues and resolve them by coordinating with the Concerned Disciplines. Conduct Weekly Quality toolbox meeting with the Quality staff and the construction crews for quality implementation. Ensure quality norms are maintained as per standards through inspections to avoid non-conformance. Prepare and generate daily/weekly welding reports. Conduct inspection of Pre-Weld Joint Set-Ups, In-process welding activities and Post Weld visual inspection of Joint. Weld summary review and verification to release the test package for hydro testing and spools to sites.

Conduct inspection activities as detailed in the Project Quality Plans and Procedures. Inspection of mechanical activities such as material receiving, spool fabrication, pipe stringing, pipe lowering, pipe bending, thrust boring, hydro testing and verify compliance to the approved project quality procedure and specification. To ensure that all testing and measuring instruments are calibrated as per standards/ requirement. Provide necessary assistance for getting approvals from the client for day-to-day project works. Reporting all cases of Non-Conformance’s, root cause analysis, preventive and corrective actions, issuing reports. Prepare weld maps, documentation and data base for all inspection and testing activities for traceability purposes. Ensure that all materials to be incorporated in the work are in accordance with the specification. Review test packages and NDE report prior to release for mechanical walkthrough / punch listing and hydro testing. Liaise with client representative for inspection and witnessing for tests.

Coordinating the fabrication, inspection, erection and engineering activities on behalf of Company in the area of mechanical works. Verify the materials as per spec, performing the inspection required and furnishing reports. Ensure implementation of Quality Control Plans and procedures. Coordinating with subcontractors, NDT personnel and client. Ensuring quality and taking necessary actions to maintain satisfactory standards. Implementation and adherence to project specifications and procedures. Monitor work progress and submit reports to project control department.
