Not many have the ability to say they play video games as part of their work, but I happily fall into that category. At Dot Esports, I've been able to write a healthy amount of pieces related to highly searched topics in the video game and esports space. In general, my articles are targeted toward highly searched terms, but I've also had the ability to offer up my own pitches to managers and editors.At Dot, I have the ability to write about topics that interest me and help readers with guide-based content for some of my favorite games.

At Boston Children's, I helped start and develop a new research lab in the Otolaryngology and Communication Enhancement department. Here, I solely managed equipment procurement and lab inventories as well as submitting monthly purchase reports to fund management. Additionally, I created figures for weekly meetings, joint lab presentations, and future publications. I also was responsible for mouse colony maintenance and wet lab experiments that involved DNA extraction and microscopic dissection and surgery.One of my biggest accomplishments in the lab was single-handedly setting up all of the shipping logistics behind our clinical research study. Here, I would send patients and families our saliva collection kits for them to use and successfully send back all through the same shipment. It was a smooth process that is still used today.

I had the opportunity to participate in multiple research project throughout my college career. These involved assisting in protocol development for tracking neuron migration in newly born rat pups, setting up experiments to measure the effects of ocean acidity on sea urchin embryonic development, and understand the relationship between sonic hedgehog protein and embryonic chicken limb development through mirco-surgical dissection of the apical ectodermal ridge.These experiences helped develop my scientific mind and pushed my critical thinking and experimental design skills. I had the opportunity to train students that replaced me when I graduated who continue the lab work to this day.

In this customer service oriented position, I had an amazing opportunity to work closely with university chemistry professors and their undergraduate, and sometimes graduate, students. Here, I would set up chemistry labs for teachers by preparing chemical solutions, purchasing specific supplies, and upkeeping chemistry equipment. I managed the stockroom inventory and consistently helped improve stockroom efficiency through self-determined section projects.
