He joined the staff of the Division of Thoracic Surgery of the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA where he served as a Staff Surgeon from 2008-2019. He has received many awards including Thoracic Surgery Foundation for Research and Education (TSFRE) Scholarship. The Leadership Program in Health Policy and Management at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University, Waltham, MA, The Mark Young International Medical Studies Scholarship, World Health Care Congress, Barcelona, Spain, The Bristol-Myers Squibb Scholar of Surgery at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center for Outstanding Achievement 1997, 1998, 1999, First Prize at the International Trauma, Anesthesia and Critical Care Society (ITACCS) for Trauma Education. Vienna, Austria.
