I am currently co-leading two main projects. I work with a team to focus on the capacity-building areas of this organization, including developing and enhancing the policies and procedures, strengthening board governance, human resource management, and the financial administrative system of MWONL.My role also includes developing learning material, engaging in outreach activities in a culturally appropriate way, and writing reports and proposals for potential funders, and assisting with drafting budgets for the organization as part of the Proposal Working Committee.I also co-lead a project focused on employment assessment, where we offer career assessment to individuals and assist them by providing resources, workshops, and referrals in a culturally sensitive environment.

Working as a Research Consultant for The Stephen Jarislowsky Chair in Economic and Cultural Transformation at the Memorial University of Newfoundland, including facilitating and conducting focus groups and interviews, and collaborating with the team as needed, from facilitating events to drafting and managing workplans and reporting,

Project Consultant for 'At Home In The Kitchen – The Cultural Ingredients Project' for The St. John's Farmers Market Cooperative in partnership with the St. John’s Local Immigration Partnership (SJLIP) to identify and address gaps in newcomer access to traditional and/or culturally recognized food products in St. John’s.

I worked as a graduate teaching assistant for Anatomy and Physiology I, Pharmacy 2002 and Nursing 1002. My job allows me to monitor and assist supervision of labs, communicate and help undergraduate students understand lab material, and assist in designing the lab exams.

My position allowed me to conduct consultations with clients, as well as customize meal plans using SFL database. I also completed administration work with SAGE Accounting Program and promoted SFL via social media/telephone/emails/presentations. I, unfortunately, had to give up this position when I chose to pursue a full-time masters program.
