Create and execute strategies to drive business improvements into the supply chain and ensure suppliers are providing high quality components and parts that meet business needs and support Bell’s ability to win future business. Integration of strategies with Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering with a strong emphasis on technical problem solving and providing solutions.

Chief Engineer for the Bell portion of the Leonardo led AW609 program

Supervise the engineering team developing the V247 Rotor system

Supervise an integrated team of engineers working on the Rotor system for the V280 technical demonstrator.

Supervise the engineering team deployed to the Advanced Composite Center (ACC). Coordinate engineering support to the factory floor. Administer engineering issue resolution. Train engineers to serve on the MRB board. Support corrective action activity. Support MRB process for both MDAR and SMDAR activity in the ACC.

Engineering focal interfacing with Procurement, Manufacturing, Suppliers, Structures, Fatigue, Rotor Design, Airframe Design, Quality, DCMA and NAVAIR.

Supplier Development Technical Lead for the engineering team supporting a major European supplier. Developed an out of autoclave process for use on the 787. Responsible for material specifications, qualification of materials, allowable test plans, process specifications, repair methodology and direction to the suppliers for process development. Assisted program management and procurement in contractual discussions with potential partners and technical presentations for the customer. Extensive off-site international assignments.

Bell representative on the NADCAP Composites Task group. Member of Six Sigma consignment team for composite materials. Engineering representative to procurement evaluating cost savings for raw materials and outsourcing of composite assemblies. Responsible for the material and process development on several RTM dynamic and static structural assemblies. Conducted coupon level fatigue and static testing for IR&D programs. Conducted audits of composite suppliers.
