Supervisory ResponsibilitiesManage all outsourced testing activity including the day to day running of the vendorsSpecific Duties / Responsibilities• Managing the execution of static and mobility field test cases for BlackBerry devices in the live network environment on all Radio Access Technologies ( GSM/GPRS, UMTS/HSPxA, LTE)• Running high sensible tests for debugging purposes• Screening and logging of technical issues found in the field by vendors• Actively promote the definition of new processes, suggesting improvements and supporting initiatives to help improve workflow at all levels• Contribute to product-specific knowledge bases• Develop and maintain relationships with other Field Test regions to help promote the Global Field Testing Team.• Ensure that issues are seen through to resolution by reacting quickly when additional investigations are required for raised defects• Responsible and accountable for test equipment, handsets, SIMs, etc.and make sure company security policy are carried out within BlackBerry and outsourcing companies• Responsible and accountable for reporting vendors test results within BlackBerry • Maintain KPI of test vendors performance throughout the year• Closely work with the regional FTS project managers to ensure the test needs are met• Individuate and run improvements to the outsourcing coordination processes• Closely work with the Global Operations Manager especially during the budgeting phases• Responsible and accountable for the spending of the assigned budget for all regional FTS outsourcing test activities• Responsible and accountable for managing a device project for the EMEA region - test planning, global contribution to software reviews and reporting.

Manage all regional external field test activities within EMEA.This includes technical support and control of services received, budget spending control for the whole region, coordinate external resources allocation as well as internal resources. Quality control and continuous processes improvement are the daily business together with coordinating the test efforts in cooperation with the Project managers. Direct report to Field Test EMEA manager as well as participating to Global meetings.To my side tasks belong also the support to Field Test Lead for test design and implementation.

• Execution of GCF Field Trials acc. to GCF and DG11 requirements • 2G/3G/HSPA devices (phones, smart phones and modules) • Different operating systems (e.g. Symbian, Windows Mobile, PalmOS) • Execution of performance field testing (throughput, handover etc.) • 3G/HSPA data products • Documentation of test results and found issues • Issue analysis, capturing trace files • Issue verification • Maintenance of network information from Italian Network Operators for field trials • Maintenance of Italian test SIM cards for field trials • Contact window to Italian Mobile Network Operators • Preparing sales activitiesSide tasks:- running pre-sales for new Field testing activity in Italy- administrate testing equipment ( SIM cards, Hardware, tools and various support software)
