Principal. Led school in the development of a formative assessment system that moved the school out of a Focus classification and was recognized as a top 10 school in the state of Ohio for growth. Introduced blended learning initiatives in EL and IEP subgroups.

Principal of Hannah Ashton Middle School in Reynoldsburg, OH. HAMS is a 5-8 building. We shifted within the already successful achievement grouping framework to an enhanced blended learning rotational model. This 21st Century Community of Learning program includes a 4 hour school day extension and a 1-1 laptop program. HAMS is currently the highest achieving MS in Ohio for high minority and high economically disadvantaged students.
