Soon after graduating from the University of Maine at Farmington in 2009, Matthew capitalized on a great opportunity to launch into the insurance scene working with a local captive insurance agency in Portland, ME specializing in personal and commercial insurance portfolios. After gaining a tremendous amount of knowledge on the captive insurance side, Matthew became challenged with a limited portfolio of products to offer existing and future clients in a very competitive industry. The realization of many missed opportunities settled in and Matthew decided to part ways from the captive agency to become an independent insurance broker where he could use his knowledge and expertise as a valuable asset to his clients searching for the best insurance programs in the market.
