Problem Solving has always been my interest. Throughout my educational journey from being a kid to my adult years, I find Mathematics and Science to be one of my best subjects. I developed the interest through curiosity where I questioned myself the reason behind how things works. I realised when I was a kid that Science isn't Magic. Every single thing that exist or had existed works in a certain way that can be explained through Science and Mathematics. One of the first few things that intrigued me was where do we come from and are we alone. I carried that drive and curiosity over when I studied Electrical & Electronics Engineering. I was fascinated on the principles of electricity generation and transmission. Electricity is one of the most important resource in this world, every single device or equipment we use runs on electricity. However most are still using traditional methods of generating or delivering power. There are still much improvements to be made. In 2015, I secured a scholarship with a leading Utility Group in Asia Pacific while pursuing my Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering specialising in Power Systems. During my work experience, I execute Power Transmission Equipment Projects such as Switchgear, Transformer and Cable. It's great to see my projects brought to life. I find managing contractors and authorities to be a satisfying journey where we solved problems together while focusing on our end goals. Aside to that, I also developed Productivity Improvements for my workplace through digitisation of manual work processes by creating an App for staff. There is still more to learn and experience going through this ever changing energy industry. As the world look into alternative means of energy to fossil fuels such as renewables, I wish to be a part of the change and contribute to the future global energy solutions through my interest and passion in Problem Solving.
