Mohd Faisal leads the end-to-end Bauxite procurement for Vedanta Limited's Aluminium Business. He closely collaborates with the CCO on key strategic matters and performance management, covering business operation analysis, raw material procurement, market analysis, planning, and benchmarking. He acts as the sole liaison for driving commercial principles within the plant.Previously, as a Technical Analyst at Hindustan Zinc Ltd, Faisal led a project that enhanced current efficiency at a Zinc smelter, significantly boosting performance and business value.He holds dual degrees (BTech & MTech) in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras with focus on Data Science and Machine learning, obtained in 2021, where he also demonstrated leadership as a core team member of various collegiate clubs, alongside maintaining an exceptional academic record.
