I work with the SUSE alliance partners to identify, test and document joint solutions that help SUSE create unique value in the marketplace. This is accomplished in several ways:- Providing a high level of technical knowledge of SUSE's product portfolio that enable our alliance partner engineering and product organizations;- Taking a pro-active leadership role in designing, creating, installing, and supporting Proof-of-Concept/Product Pilots;- Communicating and demonstrating the technical features and customer/partner benefits of SUSE products and solutions to solve identified customer problems and achieve customer/partner opportunities.

My primary job function is Linux and Open Source technical selling to customers. This includes presenting to large and small groups, demonstrations, leading technical discussion on specific technologies, working with a customer on a proof-of-concept, RFI/RFP responses, working with product management and engineering and many other task related to the sales cycle.- Additional job functions include: a team lead role to assist with interviews, on-boarding new team hires, providing guidance.

My primary job function is customer facing technical selling. Early on with Novell, I helped sell many Novell technologies. I started transitioning to only selling SUSE technologies in 2004 after Novell acquired SUSE. My responsibilities included everything mentioned in the SUSE work experience listed above.

My primary job function as a Network Specialist focused on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the network servers. As the Senior Network Specialist, my responsibilities included direction setting for a team of network specialists. As the Senior Communications Analyst, my responsibilities grew to include design and implementation of LAN/WAN systems.Additional job functions included: User training and support, advanced NetWare and Unix administration, programming, backup and rotation strategies, workstation management, and networked systems design and implementation.
