Religious Affairs Specialist
After completing the training for this position, I was the recipient of the Distinguished Leadership Award. This award was voted on by my peers who chose to recognize me for my dedication to not only my own success but the success of others. As a Religious Affairs Specialist, one of my duties is to provide support to soldiers in the unit and other detachments to maintain a high morale. I work closely with the chaplain to organize events for soldiers and military families. I have a Secret Security Clearance with this job because of my access to confidential information. As soldiers need guidance from the unit chaplain, I can schedule the appointments for their counseling sessions, and if the soldiers wish to speak with me about issues they can do so confidentially. I am also responsible for briefing higher echelon military personnel in the absence of or on behalf of the chaplain.

They should be the brand's ambassador, engaging with potential customers and building relationships with existing ones. Oversaw 2 properties while simultaneously facilitating exterior and interior renovation projects. Appointed as “CD Buddy” to onboard and train new Community Directors.
Substitute Teacher
I am qualified to substitute teach in this school district but had to relocate due to my military duties. As a substitute teacher I taught students ranging from preschool age through 12th grade. I worked closely with staff and faculty at various schools in the district to promote a healthy and safe learning environment. Because of my skill and dedication as a teacher, I was added as a “preferred substitute” by multiple teachers. I successfully executed the lesson plans of teachers across a multitude of subjects. In the case that the lesson plans provided did not suffice, I created my own materials to give to students depending on their need.
Lead Teacher
I worked as a teacher with preschool, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students. I was responsible for writing lesson plans that meet the standards mandated by the state. My lesson plans were innovative and age appropriate, I was responsible for keeping my teaching assistant up to date and empowered to make sure the classroom environment was supportive, and exciting. I also had to communicate with peers on the teaching staff as well as parents regarding behavioral issues. After I wrote evaluations for each student at the end of each term I conducted meetings with parents to update them on their child's’ academic, physical, and emotional progress. I had the opportunity to create and lead an extracurricular class that was held after school hours. During the course of my time at Egremont, I was awarded for exceptional teamwork and strong work ethic.
Co-Teacher
Once the summer was over, I was hired to join the staff as a co-teacher for the same aged students. I facilitated academic lesson plans as well as creative art projects. I was also responsible for maintaining communication with parents and other teachers on the team. There were many high profile families that attended this school so it was also a priority to help maintain confidentiality where necessary. I started at Sierra Canyon School as a camp counselor to pre-kindergartners. I executed a summer time curriculum involving gross motor activities like swimming and dance.
Teacher
Here, I was a lead teacher for three different age groups, which was based on the needs of the school leadership. I had students in different classrooms ranging from 2 - 4 years old. They all had different needs based on their academic and emotional achievement. I created plans for my classes on a monthly bases and executed them along side the classroom assistant. I also served as a lead teacher during the summer sessions where I had the same responsibilities including communication with parents and other staff members. I was formally recognized by the school director and school owner with an excellence award for outstanding performance, creativity and dedication.
Trainer
I eventually became a trainer where I had the opportunity to train new staff for restaurant openings across the western United States. To gain a different perspective on the restaurant operation, I was also trained as a server where I had to memorize a very expansive menu and maintain several guest request simultaneously. I began at the cheesecake factory as a front desk hostess, where my primary duty was to greet guests and get them seated. This was an extremely fast paced restaurant so I quickly adapted to the high volume of guests that I was in contact with on a nightly basis. I soon became the lead hostess where I was given the extra responsibility of organizing large parties that had special occasions, and writing the shift schedule for the entire front desk staff. I also had to remain in constant contact with the manager on duty to maintain a steady flow of the restaurant.
Assistant Teacher
I started as an intern while earning my bachelor’s degree. As an intern I was able to shadow teachers and develop my teaching style. At the end of my internship I was offered a full time position as an assistant teacher for 6th, 7th and 8th graders. I taught science to each age group where I had to develop lesson plans and come up with hand on assignments. I also participated as a unit leader for off campus field trips where I had to maintain the safety of students. As another responsibility, I created and led a creative thinking group for 7th grade students, which was endorsed by the founder of the school. This group allowed me to become a mentor to students who felt comfortable to confide in me and accept guidance from me regarding academic issues as well as personal matters.
Department Manager
I stayed with this company throughout two relocations in the state of California, and was able to successfully perform duties with various managerial styles. This was a fast paced department where the customers had to get in and out very quickly during certain times of the day, and I was able to meet that need successfully. After about a year working in the deli, I had the opportunity to become the department manager where I was responsible for making the department supply orders, writing the staff schedule, and delegating tasks so that the department could operate even without my physical presence. I started at Safeway as a courtesy clerk where I was responsible for store cleanliness and organization. I would bag groceries for customers and help load the items into vehicles as needed. I had to memorize the layout of the store in case customers needed assistance finding specific items. I was then hired in the deli department of the store where I handled food by preparing make to order sandwiches and lunch dishes, create party platters for special occasions, and prepare food items for the display case.
