About Challenge Taiwan:Taking place in Taiwan’s stunning tropical east coast in and around Taitung, Challenge Taiwan marks Challenge Family’s first full distance and second half distance triathlon in Asia, and has grown from 2014 to be Asia’s largest long distance triathlon featuring over 1,400 triathletes from 40 nations.Scope of Role:- Head of local and international marketing, cooperating with different media outlets- Successfully negotiates and partners with sponsors who supported the event, thus creating branding opportunities for those partners.- Coordinates all purchasing of goods and services, leading to successful event turnout.- Designs the event course, including key areas such as Start, Finish, and Transition Area.- Manages and oversees the execution of the event involving, over 700 volunteers, police officers, medical staff, etc.

About Thanyapura Sports and Leisure Club:A 23-hectare sports, health, mind and educational facility in Phuket, Thailand. It is a destination for active leisure travelers, professional and amateur sports training enthusiasts.- Revamped and reorganized the sports department, the sport shop, and the front-of-house including analysis of the Status Quo and developing a plan to deliver positive change moving forward.- Overall management of all day-to-day sport operations including membership programs, elite programs, travel packages, and events. - Developed a structure for sport programs for beginner, developmental, and elite athletes (both for children and adults).- Created travel packages and pricing for all services for members, tourist, and visitors.

About Sibelco:Supplier of advanced industrial minerals to a diverse range of applications throughout the world including glass, ceramics, construction and engineering, metallurgy and casting, oil and gas recovery and environmental protectionScope of Role:Head of all China Strategic Growth activities, external as well as organic, bringing together Business Development, Marketing, and Geology departments to create opportunities to meet the organization's short and long-term growth objectives.- Oversaw the Business Development team and developed a pipeline of M&A and growth opportunities. - Headed the Marketing team and established a market intelligence system and a branding strategy; worked with headquarters to develop and implement marketing communication material.- Coordinated with the Geology team and established transparency by mapping recourses and players to identify growth opportunities.- Chaired and participated in management meetings such as China-Executive Management Committee, New Product Development Forum, Customers & Competition Forum, etc.
