I initially began my time at Hologic as an intern heading into my senior year of college at Saint Michael's College. I was accepted back after college for a staff accountant role/temporary help. I had the role for about a year and I worked on various areas from tying out their financial statements to working on reconciliations within their accounting system and Oracle.

As an accounting intern, my responsibilities were (but not limited to) to research and finalize invoices to match the receipts, accomplish various projects using Oracle, and complete legal documents to be used by company’s department heads.

For five years I was a manager/shift supervisor at an ice hockey arena. My responsibilities were (but not limited to) handling daily operations of high traffic ice rink, scheduling ice times and managing groups to ensure efficiency, and driving the Zamboni every hour between groups to maintain quality of ice surface.

In the spring of 2011, I was involved in a VITA program as a tax preparer. My duties included, but not limited to, provided Income Tax Preparation Assistance to low-Income, elderly, disabled, and limited English speaking people. I also prepared and e-filed tax returns as well as renter’s rebate and assisted the clients with any questions and issues with their returns. I am IRS Basic Certified.
