Uganda, Operations Officer Successfully managed multi-donor programs; Partnering for Positive Living Program (PPLP) - New Partners Initiatives (NPI) (PEPFAR) (USAID FUNDED PROJECT) and Uganda Child Spacing Program (UCSP) UASID Flexible Fund (UFF) (USAID FUNDED PROJECT), May 2014 to December 2015.Overall job objective: To ensure accountability, organization, and coordination of WellShare International finance, administration, operational & logistics duties and also took an advanced role in managing Sub-Grantees / contracts financial support awarded to 6 community-based organizations under PPLP programs. Some major achievements include● I conducted partner organizations’ capacity assessments & performance reviews that led to a 95+% burn rate & timeline project implementation by partners.● I set up the systems (tools) in place for reconciled grants, advance portfolios, and asset management. This reduces the mismanagement of assets and improves effective reporting.● I rolled out donor mandate compliance training for partner staff to adhere to in the grants, and there was at least 90% compliance with donor rules & requirements among the partner staff.
