Officially, I was self-employed from 2013 to 2018, but I’ve been developing for the web since 2001. I’ve specialised in WordPress theme and plugin development for several years, but in most recent years I’ve become very passionate about the JavaScript community and ecosystem. While I consider myself primarily a Front-end Engineer, I’m not afraid of programming the back-end for my projects. I have a strong ambition to become a well-rounded Full Stack Engineer, specialised in the JavaScript domain. Because my personal projects benefit from good Search Engine Optimisation and User Experience, I’ve been keen to stay up to date with latest business practices regarding page content, source code optimisations and UI design.

I filled a dual role at Ericsson as part of the Radio Access Network Configuration Management team. In support of my role as network engineer, I developed and maintained an entire suite of custom tools to aid the team in configuring the 4G LTE network for one of the largest telecom operators in The Netherlands.
