Part of the school's marketing team and secretary for the School Governing Board

As office manager, I was responsible for the administration of office duties, documenting of contracts, orders and deliveries, and communication between the customers, suppliers and staff of the company. The marketing and handling of customer queries and complaints, along with payroll and invoicing was also part of my daily activities.

Being the link between the developer and the end user was my main focus in this role. Determining and documenting the development requirements for either new systems, or the upgrading of existing systems, was an integral part of my daily duties. Testing the system on a regular basis, providing feedback between the two major role players, and then also assisting with the implementation and presentation of end user training was also included in my job description.

Working and interacting with International banking divisions within ABN AMRO Bank, it was my task to write and run programs in order to extract data reports to provide to the Management Information Section users, in order to allow them to make informed, detailed and timely decisions.

Being part of the Systems Development team, I was the Systems Analyst liaison between the end users and the developers for new and old systems within Absa Bank. We only focused on certain existing systems, but were mainly concerned with developing new systems.

First National Bank, a Division of Rand Merchant Banking was my first Junior Systems Analyst employer. I was part of the Business Systems Division, and was responsible for compiling Information Reports as per request.
