• Studies performed to identify potential shallow geohazards, man-made hazards, and engineering constraints to block lease drilling, development and/or pipeline construction activities that comply with industry standards and the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) guideline NTLs (Notice to Lessees).• Other activities have included integrated site characterization studies, desktop studies, large-scale seafloor mapping, seep hunting, and geochemical sampling projects. • Offshore responsibilities include interfacing with client representatives, data quality control / analysis, data interpretation, assessing potential engineering constraints, initial piston/gravity/box core analysis, and field results/survey operations reporting.• Office responsibilities include staff mentorship, coordinating internal training or informational sessions, coordinating project requirements and deliverables with client throughout duration of project, data quality control / analysis, data interpretation, and shallow geohazard assessment and reporting mainly utilizing 3-D seismic data, AUV data (Multibeam, Side Scan Sonar and Subbottom Profiler), well log information and/or geotechnical data.
