Postion duties included:• Manage team of technical account managers (TAMs) to ensure proper alignment between sales needs and technical expertise at EAC• Develop and conduct Functional Group Assessments for key accounts to drive software and services pipeline• Deliver custom demos tied to PTC’s CAD, PLM, and IoT offerings; typically deep dive or benchmark engagements• Member of the management team tasked to help transform EAC into a customer-centric organization• Collaborate with PTC to develop new OOTB demos that are easier to deliver and resonate more with prospects• Travel with account managers to help with sales development, build new territories, and drive revenue

Worked as a Technical Account Manager providing support to a national sales team. Helped determine software, training, and consulting needs of customers. Demonstrated new software to customers while using my background in engineering and design to justify the role as a trusted advisor. Became expert in a number of PTC products including Pro-Engineer/Creo, Windchill, and Mathcad; helped lead multiple sales and marketing initiatives to stimulate software sales and grow EAC into one of the largest PTC Channel Partners. Won multiple awards given by PTC for Channel partners including "Get the Big Picture" in 2010 and "Top Application Engineer" in 2012. Responsibilities also included expanding the sales team’s knowledge of products and the marketplace. Helped PTC diagnose and correct several software issues. Also helped run assessments for product development environments with an emphasis on lean initiatives.

Worked as an applications engineer with a focus on being a Pro-Engineer technical advisor. Dealt with the sales team on a daily basis, giving technical knowledge on the product, handling demonstrations to potential and current customers of PTC products, offered technical support to customers, and developed sales campaigns to increase the customer base. Worked as a Mechanical Engineer with every day responsibilities including: Project/sales support, computer aided design with both 2d & 3d software packages, design calculations, shop inspections, customer interaction, production drawings, and project management. Designed small projects completely from preliminary to production stages independently including: lifting devices, specialty tools, pipe coil machines, and conveyor tables. Also developed complete factory facilities with project managers.

Worked in the Akron Technical Design Center with the engineers of the Goodyear Race Tire division. Learned the process of tire development, testing, and how to use customer feedback to improve existing products. Also worked with Global Product Planning during second summer term.
