The Project Chief (PC) is responsible to guarantee the development of the whole project / internal process of relevant components / systems, consistently with the quality, performance, timing and cost targets assigned. Main activities: • To follow from the pre-development phase to the hand over phase of relevant components / systems for what concerns technical solutions and corresponding performance, timing and cost targets • To ensure the completeness /availability of all documents necessary for sourcing, start-up, and closing • To contribute, along with other figures (PR and TPM), to development of the technical validation plan of the assigned system, to test, review, manage, and resolve issues while respecting the model time schedule • To ensure during all project developments, the technical feasibility, the design robustness, the component manufacturability and the compliance of technical documentation, through the coordination of engineering and product suppliers. To point out the critical issues or any infringements of Design/Test Standards and identify the actions needed to respect the assigned targets • To manage, together with DRs (Design Responsible), the design/installation FMEA execution, performing the risk assessment and to provide support during process FMEA execution • To prepare and publish the documentation necessary to implement technical modifications (ODMs / CCD/CNs), to request their economical evaluations, to obtain economic approval and to guarantee the associated drawings release. To monitor, through the various departments, their application in production accordingly with the time schedule and procedures provided • To ensure the completeness/availability of all documents necessary for tooling release • To provide engineering support in problem solving activities in the assembly plant from pilot phase through launch • To guarantee, within his responsibilities, the conformity to Internal Control System rules
