Assists clients in antitrust, anticorruption, compliance and regulatory matters brought before administrative and judicial courts, and provides broad-based consulting in connection with business practices and antitrust and regulatory compliance.Structures compliance programs and codes of conduct and coordinates internal investigations in companies from a wide range of sectors. Also negotiates leniency and settlement agreements with public authorities, including the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE), the Federal Controller's Office (Controladoria Geral da União – CGU) and the Public Prosecutor's Office.Also assists clients before CADE, including parties M&As and associative agreements, as well as third parties that challenge transactions.In litigation matters, represents clients in investigations related to antitrust violations, as well as in anticompetitive practices investigations before CADE. In judicial matters, represents clients in lawsuits that challenge fines and rulings of regulatory authorities and white collar cases.
