I am a data nerd, intrigued by behavioural psychology, and passionate about the tourism industry, particularly the airline space.I developed my career around the world, trying to better understand these key concepts:- how people learn- how people communicate, and- how people are motivatedThese experiences have led me to work in the UK, Europe, the USA, Australia and most recently in Canada. I have worked within the tourism industry in resorts, cruise ships, and ski chalets. I have also worked on global marketing campaigns with Coca Cola at both the Vancouver and London Olympic Games, as well as for 2 years in-house in producing, developing and trafficking digital content for the Government of British Columbia.I believe I have four major strengths that I can offer to my employer:- I can quickly understand complex concepts, breaking them down into smaller components and understanding the relationships between them.- I can communicate these key concepts to a wider audience and ensure everybody can understand and use the information presented.- I work well independently, but I gain most of my energy from the team and work exceptionally well in a partnership or collaborative situation- Through empathy and effective communication I can build meaningful and sustainable relationships that thrive. My employment in the past was international, and intentional to allow me to travel and learn at the same time. I am now committed to building my career in the wonderful whitewash where tourism, data-driven business operations, and digital marketing meet.
