Martin Dunn was born in the UK, educated in South Africa with a professional career spanning Europe, North America and Southern Africa. Martin is now based in California leading Gaine Technology a pioneer in Health Data Management.Martin is a leader and entrepreneur with a passion for data management and the increasingly important role of information in our connected world. Martin served on the executive team responsible for transforming ACG from a staff augmentation consulting firm into a specialized solutions company. Martin started a business unit to develop proprietary data management technology which would increase services margins and differentiate ACG from its competitors. Without any external investment Martin led the development and launch of the successful MDX technology. Martin personally sold deals at companies such as Honeywell, McKesson, 3M, DHL, Pfizer and many others. The MDX business unit was profitable from its first year to the time ACG was sold to Saints Capital.

Delos Technology was the pioneer in enterprise Master Data Management. Delos was recognized by Garter in 2001 as a key emerging technology and under Martin's leadership secured the initial deals at Bristol Meyers Squibb, Eli Lilly and Roche that would provide the basis of Delos' dominance of the life sciences industry.

Martin co-founded AMJ in South Africa with Jean Paquet. AMJ provided high-value data management consulting to corporate clients in South Africa.The company leveraged its consulting client base to develop the ideas that would eventually become the first generation of Master Data Management software. Martin secured venture funding for AMJ in 2001 and moved the company to North America.

Martin sold enterprise data management products from Platinum Technology in Southern Africa. Initially Martin was the owner of a Platinum franchise before Platinum acquired all of its international franchise operations in 1996.Martin built and managed an enterprise sales team for Platinum after the acquisition with responsibility for data management products in the Southern Africa and Australian region.
