I am a versatile professional with a diverse background encompassing service as a military officer, technical communications, data analysis, strategic analysis, and corporate engagement. My academic journey has led me to obtain two bachelor’s degrees with Honours in Plant Molecular Biology, and International Relations. I’m currently undertaking PhD research utilising evolutionary biology and data analytics to drive research in key plant enzymes and protein engineering. Throughout my career, I have cultivated a unique blend of skills and interests that span the realms of science, technology, and policy. In addition to my expertise in molecular, structural, evolutionary biology and coding, I bring a creative approach to problem-solving with a firm analytical grounding. I am passionate about leveraging the power of this interdisciplinary field to drive advancements in sustainability and address global challenges such as food security, environmental degradation, and climate change.In my role as a Government industry engagement officer, I was fortunate enough to drive collaboration with senior corporate executives to foster partnerships that bridge the gap between Government and industry. This experience has deepened my understanding of how industry can play a pivotal role in driving positive change addressing global challenges. Beyond my professional endeavours, I find inspiration in the natural world and the outdoors.
