Driveway is a robust, smartphone-deployed, cloud-based technology that provides auto insurers with comprehensive insured driving data for better pricing intelligence – maximizing the opportunity for lower loss ratios and higher profits.While at Driveway, I helped launch Signal by Farmers Insurance - a usage-based insurance program designed to help people improve their driving. As part of the project, I managed:• The mobile app development for both Android and iOS, including new value-added services such as Distracted Driving and a Digital Glovebox for your car.• A redesign of the internal admin portal interface that service representatives use to manage the program.• A brand new email marketing workflow designed to nurture people through the program.

Acorns is changing the way people invest. While at Acorns, I led the Product team and managed the product roadmap for the mobile, web, and email teams, including:• Creating the Monthly Account Report - a monthly email that included personal performance information as well as community content.• Building a Referral program that accounted for over 15% of new users• Launching Found Money - an investment rewards platform that supports a combination of acquisition and loyalty offers.• Managing developer relationships with both Google and Apple, including invitations to developer previews, placement in an Apple television ad, demos on Apple store devices, and participation in the 2016 WWDC keynote for watchOS 3.

ReachLocal is a provider of digital marketing services and software products for local businesses. Following its acquisition of RealPractice, I managed the web interface for the ReachEdge product bundle - a marketing automation solution for an advertiser’s leads. This included:• Integrating ReachEdge with the other ReachLocal products such as websites and live chat.• Developing the new features for the product based on customer feedback.• Providing training for sales and support teams.

RealPractice was a startup that built a suite of web-based and mobile apps for small businesses. While there as the VP of Products, I managed the product roadmap for the ReplyWise platform, which included: • A website builder and blogging platform• Marketing automation and lead tracking with workflows for email and SMS notifications• Time tracking, invoicing, and billing.Company acquired by ReachLocal.

Ripple was a digital out of home network that showed relevant content to viewers and offered local advertising to businesses. While at Ripple, I managed the product roadmap for all Ripple content and advertising products, including:• Creating content networks for partners such as Borders, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Einstein Noah Restaurant Group, Jack in the Box, Juice it Up, Robeks and Tully's Coffee. • Developing content features such as news, stocks, sports, trivia, weather, horoscopes, and local events. • Launching AdSpot, a self-serve advertising product customers used to create and book their own ads on Ripple. • Building a product team to support AdSpot, including ongoing development, design, SEM and in-product marketing. Company acquired by TargetCast Networks.

Yahoo! Music is a major destination site with tens of millions of monthly visitors. As the product owner of the Yahoo! Music Engine - a combined media player, music subscription service, and download store - I managed the development and release of client versions 1.0, 1.02, 1.1, and 2.0. I also worked with the central billing team to develop the billing solutions for both the subscription and download services.

Yahoo! Messenger was one of the first instant messaging clients with its initial version launched back in 1998. As the Messenger Product Manager, I managed production of all local and international desktop versions including:• Windows versions 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 5.0, 5.5, and 5.6• Mac and Unix Versions 1.0, 2.0• Voice, Webcam, IMVironment, and PC-to-Mobile platformsThe feature set for each version was based on user demand and business goals, as well as feedback from sales, design, business development, engineering, and customer care. I also handled external business relationships, including: Logitech, AT&T, China Unicom, Telstra, and British Telecom.

Starwave was a Seattle based software and website company, best known for managing websites such as ESPN.com, NFL.com, NHL.com, ABCNews, and Mr. Showbiz. While I was at Starwave, my job responsibilities included:• Communicating status to production and coordinating template writing and live releases. • Working on various engineering projects such as NHL GameCast, TV Listings, and the NFL Draft services.

Geoworks was a early developer of operating systems for mobile devices. While I was there as a technical writer, I wrote HTML documentation for components of GEOS-SC, including database, graphics, and the user interface. I also managed the documentation team for GEOS-SC operating system.
