About Matthew Nordin

I am a highly experienced fire fighter and advanced emergency medical technician with over 15 years airport, structural, and combat firefighting and rescue experience. Building on this, I have become well versed in the fields of leadership and mentoring, operations and command, emergency medical services, fire operations and training, and administration. I have graduated from the Marine Corps University’s Staff Non-Commissioned Officers Academy, specializing in the leadership development of young military leaders; instructing subjects such as military operations, combat and administrative leadership, and mentoring. These experiences, in both military and non-military settings, as well as formal and informal training forums, have served to make me a well-rounded supervisor able to have strong, respectful working relationships, not only with peers, but also with subordinates, seniors, and clients. My 12 years of honorable and faithful Marine Corps service have prepared me to be an exceptional member of the civilian work force, both in and out of my fields of expertise.
