My passion for fashion has shaped my academic and career journey, bringing me to the University of Texas at Austin, where I am pursuing a BS in Textiles and Apparel as a senior student. Raised in Brackettville, a small town in South Texas, I’ve always had a love for travel and a curiosity about new places and cultures. Visiting Austin as a child was something I looked forward to, and now that I live here, I’ve discovered the endless opportunities this vibrant city offers, particularly in the fashion industry.I’ve grown to appreciate the multifaceted nature of fashion, from design and sustainability to retail and consumer trends. I’m particularly drawn to the business side of the industry, where creativity meets strategy. My ultimate goal is to become a buyer, using my keen eye for style and my understanding of market trends to curate collections that resonate with consumers.
