I was specially recruited from the UK as the pioneer person responsible for design and development for emerging Asia-Pacific cellular subscriber products, and established core wireless engineering team in Asia.2. Created new Multimedia Messaging concept and developed improved receivers, highly robust compressed voice and small imaging application technologies for Flex Paging and GSM messaging systems. 3. Created and developed completely new GSM Pager architecture. Completed Layer1/2/3 SMS software, RF subsystem, small image coding, multimedia applications on a test bed that contributed to the Motorola handset architecture.
