As a Label & IFU Administrator, I am responsible for modifying medical device labels to ensure compliance to the new EU Medical Device Regulations, using specialized labelling software to create and modify label formats and assisting Regulatory Affairs in the registration of Stryker products for worldwide markets.Additionally, I assess customer operations requests for the release of holds on Stryker parts, assess individual country requirements when importing parts, provide Regulatory Affairs approval per part when necessary and gather and assess information to facilitate revision surgeries for obsolete Stryker products.Working with Stryker suppliers to communicate label changes and timelines, I ensure effective communication with Stryker suppliers, coordinate supplier label submissions, work with suppliers, review supplier label submissions to ensure they are compliant and arrange for third party translations to product description on behalf of suppliers.I review and create procedural documents, work Instructions for the Stryker Labelling Department and regularly audit reports downloaded from labelling software for any obsolete products and discrepancies.I am tasked with conducting label bar code verifications, ensuring barcode meets policy requirements, preparing label approval packs to submit to Standards authority and proofread modified label prints, verifying that the content is properly updated per inputs.I review labels and IFUs for completeness and presentation, monitor and update the Labelling Master File and utilize a variety of specialized software to support labels and IFUs.I control and monitor the movement of Stryker products worldwide, liaising with local competent authorities to confirm registration status and providing reviews of regulatory documents to ensure medical device labelling references are correct.
