Stephen has spent 30 years in the communications business, working across a who’s who of global clients, including Siemens, McKinsey, Tata, Huawei, BT, JP Morgan, Barclay’s, Mastercard, HSBC, Renault, GM, Nestlé, Lego, Guinness, Budweiser, Kimberly-Clark and Coca-Cola. He began his career at Publicis where he worked in both its London and Paris offices, eventually becoming its Client Services Director before launching Publicis Consultants in the UK. He was also one of the first recruits to HHCL, which was voted Campaign’s Agency of the Decade in 2000, working on a number of iconic and award-winning campaigns.In 1998 Stephen became Managing Director of Springpoint, a brand consultancy which was acquired by IPG to help create Futurebrand. Stephen joined McCann in 2000 as Chief Strategy Officer for EMEA and ran its London planning department from 2004 to 2008. He was also responsible for European and global planning on some of McCann’s largest international accounts, including ExxonMobil, Nestlé and Intel. Since 2012 Stephen has led and contributed to some of the agency’s largest and most high-profile global corporate accounts, including the likes of Aramco, Sabic, AkzoNobel, Merck, Aviva and Rockwool, including creating a new agency in McCann Enterprise to help service these accounts. Stephen has been closely involved with a number of charities and NGO's over the years, including the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP), the International Office for Migration, the Geneva Centre for Security and Peace, Skin and Save the Orangutan. He has been a member of the Superbrands Council since 2014 and featured in the 2018 edition of Debrett's 'People of Today'. He now lives in Dulwich, London with his wife Donna and their children, Gabriella, Ethan and Chlöe. He is a passionate but very realistic Arsenal fan
