I'm currently in my junior year here at Oregon State University to pursue a bachelor's degree in finance. I am on the lookout for an internship in the finance realm of business, specifically in accounting or as a financial advisor. I aspire to eventually get a position as a financial analyst for a small branch bank or an insurance company. I’d love to be given the authority to give insight to businesses to expend their money through certain developments/projects to attain a positive profit through my educated decisions learned through my classes and experience as I work my way to this position. I believe that my past positions have produced attributes that are needed to be successful in this position. Some of these are included below-Analytical thinker: Excels at interpreting what to look for when situations arise. For instance, at Bradford, we are always taught to think ahead before we make a decision like cutting pipe for our sprinkler system with a limited supply of pipe.-Technology Savvy: Microsoft Excel and other technology applications are exercised daily at college. At Western Fireworks I manage large datasets with functions: VLOOKUP, SUM, MATCH, and IF for our orders and to highlight our orders.-Accustomed to stressful situations: At Bradford, I was required to work effectively in a timely manner. I became accustomed to the pressure of completing daily tasks without letting the stress affect my performance for that day.
