As Application owner and team lead, I am responsible for the following : ensuring that the Production environment is stable and all operational calls are resolved timeously. As part of production stability, I need to ensure that regular maintenance cycles are in place for the Operating System as well as the Application and all it’s servers. I need to ensure that there is an efficient and auditable Change & Service Management process. I am responsible for ensuring that there is a technical and functional roadmap for the ERP, one that aligns with the Global Roadmap and Strategy of Investec.JDE Application Lead : October 2011 – June 2014 : In addition to the role of the business analyst in the Finance IT space, I have been the project and functional lead in the E9 implementation at Investec. Investec had co-existence of World and One World. Successfully completed the implemented E9 in 4 environments and 3 geographies. As the functional lead, I am responsible for the mentoring the two team members and providing guidance when they require assistance. I ensure that the system and data integrity is maintained. I continuously look for ways to ensure that processes are as efficient as possible. I have solid knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Procurement, Sales Order Processing and General accounting. We have a user base of 260 users in South Africa, Mauritius and the UK. I am familiar with the following E9 add-on products: Insight; All Out Security; Purge-It, Approval Express and Scanman.Business Analyst : October 2009 – September 2011 : Work with the business users to define and re-design business processes and identify corresponding solution requirements. I am responsible for facilitating the rollout of business process improvement initiatives. Ensure that all process and business rules are accurately documented.
