My time spent studying in the Mayborn School of Journalism at the University of Texas is constantly strengthening my skills and highlighting a variety of ways to improve in the field of public relations. While obtaining a minor in sociology, I also appreciate the people that are behind the work, and the social dynamics to efficiently complete any job.My years invested within the restaurant walls have provided my life with many unique lessons. I don’t care what anyone says; if you haven’t ever worked a day in the service industry, you don’t know what patience really is. There is a considerable amount of colorful characters that you can encounter working in a restaurant and a great amount of testing situations thrown your way. I think it’s safe to say that I have mastered customer service at its finest. Whether it is in the studio or behind the bar, I find value in the relationships formed with others and the quality of service provided.
