• Successfully implemented an internal ISO Auditing Program as Motorola and sustained the program during the transition to Jabil. In 2023, I was the lead for an external ISO 9001, 14001 Audit performed by LRQA, resulting in 0 ISO 9001:2015 finding for the entire plant. • First as Motorola, I took over managing the Corrective Action Report Program, decreasing the average time to close a CAR and bringing it within the target KPI. I maintained control of the CAR Program as Jabil, implementing Jabil’s JCAS System, and trained all staff on the 8D problem solving methodology. I lowered the average CAR Closure time again to Jabil’s shorter goal. Within the first 6 months of becoming Jabil, Richardson was recognized as one of the leading plants in the Jabil network at CAR Response Time. • Under Motorola, I maintained the Document Control System for the Richardson site. I ensured that staff only had access to the most up-to-date procedures and ensured that all procedures were reviewed on a regular basis. I was the acting Process Engineer for the Warehouse and wrote all procedures for Receiving, Put Away, Material Transfer, Kitting and Packaging. • As Jabil, I took the lead on a project to improve the labeling process for SMT Reels. In the first 6 months of 2024, there were at least 8 cases of material being labeled incorrectly, resulting in hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of scrapped and reworked PCBAs. By improving the database that the labeling machine pulled its information from, creating a procedure and properly training the operators, and introducing a check in the SMT Kitting Process, I was able to decrease that number to 0 instances of incorrectly labeled SMT Reels since July 2024.

• Reporting to North America Quality Director, manage and maintain quality of mattresses and foundations. Lead process improvement activities to improve lean manufacturing and quality in the Richmond, CA plant, as well as large scale projects that improve all nationwide plants.• Participate in new product launches. Give feedback to New Product Development to increase manufacturability of new product lines, as well as identify possible failure areas in mass production and recognize and implement methods of avoiding failures. Work with nationwide plant management to train production staff about new processes, procedures, and materials required for new products.• Write and maintain standard operating procedures and job instruction breakdowns for use in all Tempur Sealy plants in North America. Work with plant management and operators to implement these processes and ensure understanding and adherence to these documents. • Perform various audits including finished goods, 6S, safety, and process adherence within the plant. Lead team to pass corporate directed plant assessments, as well as audits from customers such as Costco.

*Collaborated on an array of projects with Engineering, Production, Machine Shop,Purchasing, and Document Control departments to develop, improve, and sustainproduction. Worked alongside research and development engineers, identified anddeveloped new tooling required for new products. Aided in moving these projects fromdevelopmental stages to the production line. Interacted with the production line to receivefeedback and improve the production process. Worked with Document Controldepartment to maintain parts, BOM’s and documentation for new and existing tools.* Using a variety of tools including SolidWorks, developed and implemented productiontooling and processes to streamline manufacturing production. Created prototypes of newdesigns using 3D printers. Designed and performed tests to validate new tools andprocesses.* Supported contract manufacturers with tools and processes needed for our incomingsubassemblies, giving feedback on products they produced. Performed offsite visits tovendors to assure compliance with manufacturing guidelines provided.* Performed various tests required to determine the source of problems in production, andaided in rectifying the problems.

* Using SolidWorks, designed, created, and updated parts and part drawings. Thesedrawings were sent to outside vendors to be fabricated according to company’sspecifications.* Working with the mechanical engineering department, processed accepted EngineeringChange Requests coming from Oracle/Agile PLM system. Using SolidWorks, updatedand created drawings and parts to reflect revision changes to be submitted to contractmanufacturers.* Led and participated in design review meetings to evaluate new product concepts prior tothe prototype phase. Implemented feedback into the design and worked with purchasingdepartment to procure prototype parts.* Created and maintained bill of materials in Oracle/Agile PLM (Product LifecycleManagement) system for various loudspeaker assemblies.

* Processed accepted ECO/ECR requests coming from Oracle/Agile PLM system. UpdatedSolidWorks parts and part drawings to reflect these requests.* Using SolidWorks, designed custom stage monitor to assist rock group Metallica duringperformances.* Worked with manufacturing engineering department to assemble prototype speakers.Wrote manufacturing assembly instructions (MAI’s) for these speakers to be later usedby production assembly workers. Also worked with this group to determine anddocument labor standards for various speaker assembly times.* Worked with mechanical and reliability engineering department to perform failureanalysis studies on production and prototype speakers.
