Senior Manufacturing Quality EngineerJabil Feb 2024 - PresentRichardson, Texas, United States• Successfully implemented an internal ISO Auditing Program as Motorola and sustained the program during the transition to Jabil. In 2023, I was the lead for an external ISO 9001, 14001 Audit performed by LRQA, resulting in 0 ISO 9001:2015 finding for the entire plant. • First as Motorola, I took over managing the Corrective Action Report Program, decreasing the average time to close a CAR and bringing it within the target KPI. I maintained control of the CAR Program as Jabil, implementing Jabil’s JCAS System, and trained all staff on the 8D problem solving methodology. I lowered the average CAR Closure time again to Jabil’s shorter goal. Within the first 6 months of becoming Jabil, Richardson was recognized as one of the leading plants in the Jabil network at CAR Response Time. • Under Motorola, I maintained the Document Control System for the Richardson site. I ensured that staff only had access to the most up-to-date procedures and ensured that all procedures were reviewed on a regular basis. I was the acting Process Engineer for the Warehouse and wrote all procedures for Receiving, Put Away, Material Transfer, Kitting and Packaging. • As Jabil, I took the lead on a project to improve the labeling process for SMT Reels. In the first 6 months of 2024, there were at least 8 cases of material being labeled incorrectly, resulting in hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of scrapped and reworked PCBAs. By improving the database that the labeling machine pulled its information from, creating a procedure and properly training the operators, and introducing a check in the SMT Kitting Process, I was able to decrease that number to 0 instances of incorrectly labeled SMT Reels since July 2024. -
