I have been working with people all day, every day for the past five years. Most of my work experience has come from my years in the restaurant business. I started out as a hostess and worked my way up to be a server, and then bartender. Though this work experience does not directly relate to my college major of public relations, it has given me many skills that I will later use in my professional career. Using strong communication skills and problem solving in the restaurant industry has certainly helped to prepare me for a job in the public relations field. The other part of my professional career has taken place through my collegiate schooling. I began my college journey at the University of Massachusetts- Amherst, and transferred to the University of Alabama my junior year in the spring of 2024. I have achieved many small accomplishments during my college career thus far. I was a member of Alpha Chi Omega while at UMass where I served as an assistant to the vice president of marketing on the Panhellenic Council. Since my time at the University of Alabama, I had joined their PRSSA chapter, studied abroad, and offered a community outreach position for the school's mens hockey team.
