I am a Texas Tech University graduate with a Creative Media Industries degree. I hope to obtain a career in media doing everything from digital media, to social media, and photography. While at Texas Tech I took classes like Writing for Media and Communications, Video Production and Editing, Producing for Sports, and videography and photography classes that have enhanced my knowledge and skills in the Creative Media Industries field. I worked in Broadcast Services for Texas Tech Athletics where I did camera work for athletic events, ran TV replays, created halftime highlight reels, etc. In December of 2022 and 2023, I got the opportunity to intern with the digital media team at the Valero Alamo Bowl. I was in charge of taking photos of players and fans throughout the week and managed Instagram to keep fans up to date with events. Lastly, I assisted in creating social media graphics for the on-campus radio station at Texas Tech and even got to have my own one-hour show on National College Radio Day! I hope to work in an interactive environment where I can continue to learn more about my field daily.
