I have a vast array of experience with children of all ages and their families. I have held positions working as a homebound teacher, a member of an interdisciplinary team to address the developmental needs of children, and as a classroom teacher for over three years in various settings. I have experience as a Quality First! Assessor, one of First Things First signature programs, conducting detailed observations of early childhood programs and reporting collected data through detailed, objective, reports. Further, I collaborated with the Teaching Early Literacy and Language across the Curriculum (TELL) research study through Arizona State University, where I attended intensive training on early literacy and language development.
