I am a current Graduate student at Harvard Graduate School of Education, working on my third degree. I am pursuing a Master of Education in Language and Literacy, and in May I graduated with Bachelor's degrees from The Ohio State University in Early Childhood Education and Spanish. I am a bilingual, aspiring educator seeking to work with Primary/Elementary level students and teaching in both Spanish and English. I am interested in working in large, urban areas both domestically and internationally. I have studied abroad for my Spanish degree in Central and South America, as well as in the Iberian peninsula. I have a year of student teaching experience in Kindergarten, as well as extensive observation and tutoring experience in PreSchool, and in 1st-4th grade classrooms. I hope to work in a variety of disciplines, affecting positive change in the field of bilingual education and early literacy development. After my first year of teaching in the classroom, I will receive my official K-12 licensure to be a Reading Specialist from the state of Massachusetts.
