I am a third-year Doctor of Pharmacy student at Nova Southeastern University College of Pharmacy in Davie, Florida, and a member of Rho Chi, the pharmacy academic honor society. I completed a dual Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Natural and Applied Sciences at Florida International University, where I worked full-time at a law firm while exploring options in healthcare. My interest in pharmacy began after completing a Pharmacy Technician course at FIU, which led to my certification and licensure. I gained hands-on experience at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital as an IV Pharmacy Technician, where I discovered my passion for pediatric pharmacy and committed to a career as a clinical pharmacist. Currently, I work weekends at the hospital, gaining insights into pediatric pharmacy while pursuing interests in residency and industry. I serve as SSHP Residency Workshop Chair, AAPP Secretary, and Dean’s Ambassador for 2024-2025, actively contributing to the profession. My enthusiasm for pharmacy extends to research, and I am seeking collaborative projects to advance the field further.
