As a marketing maven with an eye for design and entrepreneurial spirit, I forged a creative professional career path for myself. Armed with marketing education and internship experience, I landed in the insurance industry upon undergraduate graduation. This experience provided the opportunity to break into the event industry to market wedding and special event insurance. While setting revenue records, gaining market share, and launching the first-ever social media presence at Protector Plans, I opened and maintained a successful and nationally published wedding planning and design business. After four successful years of selling wedding insurance, I transitioned into a Marketing and Communications Director role. This opportunity allowed me to strengthen my knowledge of integrated marketing communications, creative writing, branding, insurance, graphic design, and digital marketing skills. Eager to continue learning and growing, I recently earned a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in marketing, leading me to my current role of Program Leader for Brown & Brown Insurance's wedding and event insurance programs.
