As a Regional Coordinator, I am dedicated to enhancing educational experiences and fostering student success through innovative curriculum development and effective instructional strategies. With a proven track record of providing leadership and support to educational institutions, I am committed to creating an environment that fosters growth, collaboration, and academic excellence.My journey in education began with a Bachelor of Business degree from Belhaven University, setting the foundation for my passion for teaching and learning. I further honed my expertise through a Master of Business and a Master of Education from the University of Memphis, where I gained valuable insights into educational best practices and effective leadership.Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving in key roles that have allowed me to positively impact students and educators alike. As the Response-to-Intervention Coordinator at Freedom Prep, I played a pivotal role in developing and implementing district policies related to the RtI2 framework. My efforts ensured that students received timely and targeted interventions, resulting in the district maintaining a SOAR rating of 5, signifying compliance in all aspects of RtI2.During my tenure as a Special Education Department Chair/Teacher at Shelby County Schools, I spearheaded mental and behavioral health care services for students with IEPs/504 plans. I skillfully coordinated case management services and ensured the seamless delivery of specialized instruction, always in adherence to local and Federal regulations. My dedication extended to communicating effectively with parents, guiding them through the special education process and empowering them to be active partners in their child's education.My skill set encompasses strong communication, leadership, and staff development abilities, along with a results-oriented and encouraging approach.
