I am a lawyer with over 25 years’ experience in all aspects of workplace relations, employment law, anti-discrimination law and corporate restructures in Australia. I have no less than 12 versions of our federal workplace relations legislation sitting on my bookshelf, right back to when it was called the Industrial Relations Act 1988!Early in my law firm career I worked for what was then the largest global law firm, advising multi-national companies on their workplace relations issues. For 10 years I headed up the workplace relations team at KCL Law. I joined Maddocks in 2021 as a partner in the Employment, Safety and People team, one of the largest workplace law teams in Melbourne, so that I could ensure that clients could have access to a large full-service legal team.My work experience not only includes experience in law firms, but I have also worked for the Australian Entertainment Industry Association and the Federal Department of Workplace Relations. I can assist on human resources policies, employment contracts, workplace investigations, discrimination and general protections claims, redundancies and other employee terminations, modern award interpretation, harassment and bullying issues, occupational health and safety, employment related litigation and prosecutions, post-employment restraints, enterprise agreements, vaccination issues, advocacy in Fair Work Commission, executive engagements and termination and unfair dismissals.
