Provide specialized support in the year-round planning, coordinating, and hosting of Columbia’s SHARP (Skills for Health and Research Professionals) Training Program. In this role, I organize multiple trainings from start to finish, including initial topic development with faculty instructors, tailored outreach and marketing plans, develop material, communicate professionally with internal and external parties, as well as organize and host all aspects of day-of implementation for both instructors and attendees.

This office coordinates care among 3 affiliated OB/GYN practices and the hospital to help ensure patients are prepared and educated prior to when they are admitted for delivery. In my role I:-Coordinate and manage prenatal education classes, tours, and postpartum support groups-Design/develop prenatal education resources, including informational handouts as well as teaching materials and curriculum-Work closely with hospital's Registration Department to ensure expectant moms are preregistered to eliminate any delay in care when they arrive to deliver (preregistration rate went from 40% to consistently over 90%)-Schedule appointments for the clinical Navigator to connect with patients prenatally -Serve as an information resource to the public regarding any questions about the Mother-Baby unit-Assist with coverage for the Labor and Delivery Activity Coordinator

Intern dedicated to enhancing the Patient Experience and subsequently supporting relationship-based care. In my role, I assisted the Vice President of Patient and Family Advocacy at Northern Westchester Hospital with various projects. Key accomplishments: -Completed the replication manual for Patient Voices, a staff recognition program.-Created online prenatal class registration site for Mother-Baby unit: www.nwhfamilycenter.eventbrite.com.-Presented accomplishments to Northwell Executives and Cultural Leader Representatives from across entire Northwell Health System as part of “Annual Internship Report-Out Showcase.” -Was hired full time at the conclusion of my internship.

Assisted with branding efforts for the hospital, including social media and newspaper advertisements, as well as supported the hospital's Marketing events, Foundation events, and Community Outreach Programs.
