In this role I serve as the Director of HR for 4 Regions in the state. I am the point person and supervisor for 6 HR Analysts, I also provide guidance to 8 Regional Directors. My day to day work varies based on the needs of the agency. I provide HR guidance, coaching, and support. In addition, I am the subject matter expert for all employee relations questions, including writing disciplinary actions, reviewing job performance plans, and fielding employee complaints.

In the eligibility counselor position, I interview customers to assess their eligibility for federally funded aid. I apply complicated policies and procedures to each case in order to determine the eligibility outcome. Excellent customer service is displayed throughout the eligibility determination process. I currently serve as a 'floater' for my district. I aid co-workers in completing the cases assigned to them by processing the information provided and taking action as needed on the application. In my current role, I am able to offer assistance within my team setting. I use the Microsoft Office suite programs daily, as well as Google Drive and documents.

I served as a case manager for patients with mental health-related issues, ensuring their compliance with their targeted treatment including therapy and medication management. I also assisted them in applying for government assistance and other life-improving activities. I managed a caseload of 30 or more clients, seeing each for 3 hours per month, documenting those interactions in accordance with government insurance policy regulations, and communicating continually with their treatment providers to ensure continuity of care. Microsoft Office Suites programs and an internet-based program for uploading documents was used in daily tasks.

In addition, I was solely responsible for the hiring process for the front end, including selecting applicants for interviews, interviewing, offering positions, orientation and training. I also completed all necessary paperwork for the hiring process. Another aspect of the responsibilities was issuing disciplinary action, as well as terminations and recommending promotions.
