FACE uses the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) – an effective, research-based strategy that has been proven to be effective for teaching students with autism.• Modify instruction for twelve first-fourth-grade students to their instructional level (pre-kindergarten-fourth grade) on a daily basis within the classroom setting. • Develop and implement individualized academic programs, demonstrate knowledge of effective instructional techniques. • Monitor student’s IEP goals and progress in the classroom setting while collaborating with Parents, Principal, Behavioral Analysts, Speech Therapists and Occupational Therapists. • Create weekly lesson plans and implement positive reward systems for continuous reinforcement of students positive behaviors • Anticipate potential behavior problems in students maintaining line-of-sight supervision of assigned students and assessing behavior patterns.• Supervising two teaching assistants with daily tasks before, during and after-school.
