The Center included 8 Principle Investigators with 65+ employees and trainees including medical doctors, post-doctoral fellows and associates, and graduate students. I worked in this role full-time while pursing my graduate degree part-time. My role and responsibilities can be divided into two main areas of focus:Manager of Operational Activities:- Served as the first point of contact for all Center employees and guests. Generally maintained all activities required for the Center to operate smoothly each day.- Screened, hired, and onboarded more than 10 full-time roles.- Developed rigorous onboarding process for new employees and trainees.- Created and maintained system to maintain limited staffing levels during COVID-19 pandemic. This system was a part of the fabric of operations for the Center during the pandemic and was utilized by every member of the Center daily.- Proposed and executed a plan to update the Center’s website. Previous versions of this website were hosted and maintained by a third party with an outdated interface. The new version is sleek, concise, includes eye-catching animations, and promotes the innovative spirit the Center embodies.- Successfully submitted all financial reconciliations related to organizational purchases and reimbursements.Executive Assistant to the Director:- Managed the schedule of CReM’s Director, who is a practicing hospital clinician, Principle Investigator and mentor for a lab, leader of the Center, and thought leader in the field of induced pluripotent stem cell research in the lungs.

Project aimed at gauging patient engagement and satisfaction with telemedicine visits in BMC's Neurology Department.

Reduced physician burnout in the Thoracic Surgery Department by reducing administrative burden during surgical scheduling process.Utilized data collected via staff surveys, focus groups, and direct observations to conduct root-cause analysis, process mapping and value stream analysis.

Addressing the Challenges and Constraints of Insulin Source and Supply (ACCISS) StudyUtilized data outputs from mobile application developed in CommCare to generate a multi-functional dashboard that visually conveys the most vital data trends in insulin access and availability. Stakeholders for the dashboard included policy makers, NGO workers, Ministry of Health officials, and academics within low- and middle-income countries around the globe.Dashboard will be adapted by data collectors around the world for use in this study.

The Mass in Motion program collaborates with +27 municipalities in Massachusetts to reduce the incidence of chronic disease through physical activity and healthy eating among its residents through implementing systemic changes lead by communities. As Research & Evaluation Intern, I:- Utilized a Leading with Race framework to design community fact sheets that highlighted program impacts and successes.- Presented a historical analysis of systemic racism in order to inform guidance for next fiscal year's activities related to the reduction of chronic disease.- Identified and resolved gaps in data for each grantee on SharePoint.

Healthy Futures: Access to CareIn collaboration with Refugee Center & Community School at Reynolds and Franklin & Marshall College-Increased the awareness of and access to health related services for refugee community through a strengthened collaboration between the Refugee Center and Lancaster Health Center.-Assisted in the development and implementation of the Welcoming Schools Orientation Program for newly arrived refugee families.-Developed and implemented sustainable volunteer management systems.-Facilitated systemic changes in order to increase refugee access to needed mental health services.
