Served as project owner for:The fight against the repeal of the ACA; with the health care of 20 million+ Americans on the line, worked rapidly to create and scale a national earned/editorial and paid media strategy to support a growing and diverse coalition of ACA supporters.Consumer information & education campaign for Biosimilar medications; launched a fully integrated campaign for one of the world's largest health care companies, leveraging earned, owned and paid media to educate and advocate for the life-saving benefits of lower cost, next generation generic medications.Stopping the massive influx of fentanyl from China; created a coalition called ‘Americans for Securing All Packages,’ to focus public attention on a clear and present threat to US health and safety. In October 2018, Congress the passed the Synthetics Trafficking and Overdose Prevention (STOP) Act, and the President signed it into law.

Supported the objectives and goals of the Secretary and the President regarding public and media perception of the ACA’s second successful open enrollment period. Led the media teams across rapid response and crisis communications management for all regional and national press coverage for the second ACA open enrollment.Spearheaded the national media strategy to manage coverage/perception of the Congressional investigations and hearings related to the ACA.Supported the successful rollout of Medicare-funded End of Life Counseling by building a diverse coalition of national nonpartisan medical, legal and religious leaders in advance of announcing the policy.Worked closely with Department leadership and the White House to ensure unified messaging that satisfied all internal and external stakeholders.

Senator Schatz is known as a progressive legislator who supports common sense gun safety laws, social and legal equity on issues such as same-sex marriage, and reproductive rights.
